The DML Group began its journey in 1988 with a clear mission: to build a trusted, quality-focused trading company that connects Indian agro-commodities to global markets. With customer trust, integrity, and long-term relationships at its core, the company laid a strong foundation for future expansion.

1988

In its early years, the DML Group strengthened its sourcing network across India, established operational systems, and entered international markets with its first export shipments. This phase shaped the business identity which includes reliability, consistent supply, and understanding global buyer needs.

1988-2004

As demand increased, The DML Group expanded its product range to include castor derivatives, sugar, cotton, rice, grains, legumes, and various meals. The company built long-term relationships with buyers across multiple continents and steadily scaled its export volumes. In 2007, The DML Group branched out into the ceramic industry by launching Kiara Tiles, entering tile manufacturing and exports.

Growth & Market Expansion (2004-2010)

During this period, the Group accelerated its global operations, enhanced logistics efficiency, and strengthened international distribution. A more structured operational framework, modernized supply chain processes, and a deepened presence in emerging markets helped The DML solidify its reputation as a reliable export partner.

Strategic Acceleration (2010-2015)

In 2015, The DML Group was recognized by former President of India Mr. Pranab Mukherjee for outstanding export performance. The DML Group reinforced its fundamentals with disciplined sourcing, improved storage capabilities, and long-term supplier associations. With growing demand and consistent performance, The DML expanded into warehousing, infrastructure, and project management, creating stronger internal capabilities and operational stability.

Building Strong Fundamentals (2015-2020)

To meet changing market needs, The DML Group introduced modern business practices, improved traceability, and optimized quality-control systems. DML enhanced its presence in global supply chains while increasing logistics speed, service transparency, and customer support. In 2021, The DML Group was featured in Forbes India for its growth, leadership, and impact on global trade.

Redevelopment & Expansion (2020-2022)

Beyond agro-commodities, The DML Group broadened its footprint into renewable energy, real estate development, and infrastructure, reflecting a forward-looking vision and commitment to sustainable growth. With over 40,000 containers exported to more than 60 countries, The DML Group continues to grow as a diversified global enterprise with strong values and industry expertise.
