Most of the castor cultivation in India takes place in Gujarat, particularly in regions such as Mehsana, Banas kantha, and Saurashtra/Kutch. Castor oil is a vegetable oil extracted from castor beans, rich in ricinolein acid, which gives it unique chemical properties.
