- Controls on Quality of Cotton
To provide the best quality products to the customers, the same needs to be procured at first place. After the procurement is done; three tire processes is followed to ensure that quality meets the standard.
o Appointed Quality checking Experts go to ginning factories to physically check the quality of the cotton purchased.
o Physical inspection is done at the point of arrival of the cargo at warehouse.
o After physical inspection, few samples (depending on the lot size) are sent to nationally recognised labs for lab testing & few samples are also sent to external quality graders & passers
Quality checking of all the parameters is done through HVI Testing method in USTER-10000 Machine at ATIRA (ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 Accredited) Physical Testing Laboratory and Cotton Association of India Lab at Rajkot, India
- Controls on Packaging of Cotton
At DML Group of Companies, Manual observation of each & every bales packing condition is done while taking delivery of Cotton from the Ginners.
Cotton Bales packed at highly sophisticated TMC Unit. Cotton Bales are fully covered through Cotton Cloths and bales tightened through high quality Plastic stripes to fit for Sea worthiness. We provide double layer packing for Cotton Bales.
Also, Re-checking and supervision of packing condition of each & every bales at Container Yards while stuffing into the containers for export.
